Forums

The Department of Mines and Energy hosted a number of EnergyWise Forums between April 2005 and April 2007. The forums were designed to provide the opportunity for businesses to learn how to reduce their ongoing energy costs through practical case study presentations, technical advice, and commercial product demonstrations.

Developers, owners and facilities or assets managers were able to learn about the benefits and practicalities of energy management and how to assess energy efficiency opportunities from a strategic perspective in their business.

Six forums were held targeting various groups and industries:

• Office Buildings
• Hotels and Resorts (Gold Coast and Cairns Forums)
• Shopping Centres
