Gas Retail Prices

From 1 July 2007, retail prices for reticulated natural gas in Queensland have been deregulated.   The regulated prices that applied prior to 1 July 2007 have been revoked and retailers are now responsible for setting prices for their customers.

With the introduction of full retail competition in Queensland's natural gas market from 1 July 2007, all natural gas customers (excluding customers in Roma and Dalby) are entitled to choose which retailer they purchase their natural gas from.
