Company Exploration Reports

Queensland Digital Exploration Reports

Connect to the Queensland Digital Exploration Reports System

The Geological Survey of Queensland manages the company exploration reports collection using an internet document management system called QDEX (Queensland Digital EXploration Reports system).

This system allows the user to search, display, download or lodge exploration reports via the internet. To use these functions in QDEX you must become a registered user by completing the QDEX Registration Form (PDF, 818 kB) and faxing this completed form to 07 3362 9368. Registration and use of QDEX is free.

From the 1st January 2004 it has been approved that all reports lodged with this Department for work carried out on Exploration Permits, Mineral Development Licences and all Petroleum Tenure (including Authorities to Prospect) must be submitted digitally using the QDEX electronic lodgement system.

All open file company reports in the collection have been scanned into QDEX.
