Fossicking Licences

There are two types of tourist and recreational fossicking licence available—Individual and Family.

The current Queensland fossicking licence fees, stated in Australian currency, apply from 01 July 2008.

To obtain a Fossicking Licence, print and fill out an application form (PDF, 35 kB)* or (WORD, 84kB), then contact your nearest Department of Mines and Energy Regional or District Office, or visit a fossicking licence agent near you.
