How to use the Interactive Maps

By selecting a commodity from the available list on the right, the program will automatically display all of the mines, sites, occurences and locations for that commodity on the map of Queensland.

As the mouse cursor is rolled over each of these points, a readout will display at the top of the page highlighting the following:

  • Commodity Name
  • Sequence No.
  • Deposit
  • Status
  • Prospect
  • Site No.
  • Locality and available commodities

If a point is clicked, a supporting data sheet will open in PDF format containing more extensive information that may be saved or printed.

It is recommended that the latest version of Acrobat Reader (ver 8) be installed to ensure maximum compatability when using the Interactive Maps. If you do not have Acrobat Reader (ver 8) installed, please click on the Acrobat Reader link to install it.
