The Science of Mining is a teachers kit which will give secondary science students opportunities to explore earth science in the context of mining activities in Queensland. The material is organised around outcomes from the Queensland Science Syllabus and is written for students operating at levels four, five and six.

Science RocksScience Rocks

Science Rocks provides middle and upper primary school students with pportunities to explore earth science, particularly geology and mineralogy. The material is organised around strands and outcomes from the Years 1-10 science syllabus.

Queensland Resources Council (QRC) - Oresome Resources

The Queensland Resources Council (QRC) is a not-for-profit peak industry association representing Queensland's minerals and energy sector.

The QRC works to secure an economic and environmentally responsible future for the minerals and energy sector in Queensland.

The QRC has developed a Minerals and Energy On-line Education Program which includes on-line educational resources and a Teacher Professional Development Program.

The QRC has recently created a dedicted web presence titled Orsome Resources where a range of teacher and student resource material representing mining, exploration and energy resources in Australia and can accessed.
