Queensland Petroleum Geoscience data
Petroleum Geoscience and Wireline log data
Queensland Petroleum Geoscience data include general well history, company and GSQ stratigraphic picks, drill stem tests, hydrocarbon indications, references, wireline log types, downhole temperatures, analytical results (e.g. oil, gas, pyrolysis, petrophysics, thermal maturity), and location information on over 3800 petroleum exploration and stratigraphic wells.
Location data is also included for almost 1000 2D seismic surveys recorded in Queensland up to 1999.
The C-Horizon map for Eromanga Basin, Queensland, a regional seismic marker correlating with the top of the Cadna-owie Formation and equivalents, is also supplied on the disk.
Queensland Petroleum Wireline Log data include digital well logs for over 2300 open file petroleum exploration wells and stratigraphic bores in Queensland.
All of these data are available on a DVD for 'cost of provision'. The Petroleum Geoscience data can be downloaded from the Interactive Resource and Tenure Maps (IRTM) as 'QPED Well Data'. A list of the wells with digital wireline logs is also available for download as 'Digital Wireline Log Summary'.
