Slope stability in south-east Queensland
This CD is a collection of Queensland Geological Records produced by the Geological Survey of Queensland regarding slope stability on basalt plateaux in South-East Queensland
1981/14 Slope stability and its constraints on closer settlement on Tamborine mountain (WF Willmott)
1983/09 Slope stability and its constraints on closer settlement on the Mapleton Maleny plateau (WF Willmott)
1983/64 Slope stability and its constraints on closer settlement in the Canungra-Beechmont-Numinbah area (WF Willmott)
1984/10 Landslide susceptibility of natural slopes in the city of Brisbane
(GW Hofmann & WF Willmott)
1984/44 Slope stability and its constraints on closer settlement in the foothills of the Toowoomba range, Gatton Shire (WF Willmott)
1987/04 Slope stability and its constraints on building in the Rosewood-Marburg area (WF Willmott)
2001/01 Slope stability and its constraints on closer settlement - Springbrook plateau and upper Tallebudgera and Currumbin valleys, South-East Queensland (WF Willmott & M Hayne)
2003/03 Slope stability and its constraints on closer settlement - Mount Mee Plateau, South-East Queensland (WF Willmott & DA Suwitadiredja)
MAPS
Original geological maps and updated land zoning maps for these areas
GIS
Data for stability zoning and landslip locations is provided as shapefiles (in directory \gis\esri\data) and MapInfo tables (in directory \gis\mapinfo\data). All data sets are MGA zone 56 projection.
You will need a GIS viewer or a commercial product like ArcView, ArcMap or MapInfo to use the data. In the esri\data directory are a set of layer files which can be loaded straight into ArcMap9x, and legend files (avls) for symbolising the data in ArcView3x. The mapinfo\data directory contains tables for direct loading into a MapInfo workspace. The polygon maps have been coloured whereas the line maps are uncoloured.
