Bowen/Surat Basins gravity Project
This survey covers 114 000 square kilometres (5263 stations) of the western part of the Surat Basin overlying the Bowen Basin, and was collected on a 4x4km grid.
Daishsat Ltd completed the survey on 7th April 2006 and results are now available for download from the National Gravity database at the Geoscience Australia web site or from the Department of Mines and Energy on CD for cost of provision.
Bowen/Surat Basins airborne geophysics Project
The survey flown over the southern area was completed on the 9th April, and that over the northern area on the 30th July. Data from both areas are now available from Geoscience Australia as downloadable files from GADDS .
The data are also available on DVD from the Department of Mines and Energy.
